Rayan Kouatly
Managing Partner - K&A - Beirut & Riyadh

With over 30 years of experience in Corporate Law, Rayan Kouatly is the Managing Partner of Kouatly & Associates (K&A). He is specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions, Arbitration, and Oil and Gas, and has equally extensive experience in Banking Law, Maritime Law, real estate and construction contracts. He now focuses his practice on Arbitration, while K&A’s practice covers all general corporate legal advice. Since 2017, he has been the Secretary General of the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center (LAMC) of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, leading this institution towards becoming a major regional player. In few years, the LAMC gained respect and confidence of local and international arbitration practitioners and has managed cases with a total value exceeding 1 billion US dollars.

K&A’s Clients covered a wide array of public entities (such as the Lebanese Parliamentarian Committee for Energy, the Lebanese Ministry of Telecom, the Qatari Ministry of Health, the Saudi Ministry of Energy, a regional aviation company, and diversified private Businesses (Venture Capitals, startups, local and regional banks, renowned international F&B franchises, luxury clothing, major construction companies, regional logistics and freight forwarding companies…).

Rayan has been chosen for many years in the Who’s Who Legal Data privacy for his knowledge and contributed with other lawyers of the firm in publishing articles on new technologies laws with international Legal publishers.

He has served as a Board Member for different regional organizations and is currently a Board Chairman/member of different Lebanese-European Business Councils, and the Vice President of the Beirut Bar Association Committee on Energy.

Rayan is invited from time to time to speak at regional or international symposiums on different topics (oil and gas; arbitration…).
